Balls other than 10 pocketed illegally stay down
shot where only ball pocketed is done so illegally gives non shooting player option to take over shooting or allow shooter to continue
LEGAL HIT
The first ball you contact with the cue ball MUST be one of your type.
After contact, ANY ball must hit a rail or pocket.
With an open table you may contact ANY ball except the 8 ball. After contact, you must make ANY ball hit a rail or pocket.
With an open table, you may hit a solid first and call a stripe or vice versa.
If the ball you call goes where you call it, it's considered a good shot provided it meets the above requirements
